The Hollywood Improv
Now celebrating its 50th anniversary, The Improv is where many of today’s stars were born and continue to shine, a non-stop launch pad for the Who’s Who of comedy—Robin Williams, Lily Tomlin, Andy Kaufman, Adam Sandler, Jerry Seinfeld, Drew Carrey, Ray Romano, Dave Chappelle, and Jeff Dunham, to name a few, are all Improv alumni. Founder Budd Friedman established The Improv in NYC, 1963 and later moved it to the West Coast where it continued to build its reputation as the premiere venue where Hollywood’s talent management, agents and film/television executives look for the best in new talent.
